Welcome to Year 1. We have 2 classes, 1LM and 1KD.
Meet the Team
In 1LM there is Mrs Mason and Mrs Plant with Mrs Chapman on a Friday afternoon.
In 1KD there is Mrs Davies and Mrs Barnes.
Author Focus
Important information
PE
The children will have PE on a Thursday.
They will need a White T- shirt, bottle green/black shorts, suitable trainers/pumps, warm green/black jogging bottoms. An optional plain black school hoodie can be worn on cooler days.
Reading at home
Reading books will be sent home daily. There will be a reading book that is matched to their reading level and a ‘bedtime book’ which they choose independently and could be read to them by an adult if needed. It is important that you read every day with your child and record their reading in your child’s reading diary. Your child will need to bring their books and diaries to school every day.
