Our Commitment to Supporting Pupils with SEND

At Great Malvern Primary School, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of every pupil. We are proud to be a fully inclusive school, where all staff are well-informed and trained to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We work swiftly to identify pupils who may be making limited progress and provide targeted interventions tailored to their individual needs. Our approach is proactive, compassionate, and collaborative, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

We keep parents fully informed throughout the SEND process, sharing updates on their child’s learning and progress at regular intervals during the school year. We also work closely with the Local Authority, health professionals, and community organisations to ensure that the support we offer is both appropriate and effective.

To help families better understand SEND and how we can work together to support children, we’ve provided a selection of helpful documents. If you have any concerns or would like to discuss SEND at our school, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
